I got interested in leadership because I've always been interested in people. When I was younger I didn't think leadership was a big deal and I thought most leaders, i.e. company leaders, have an easy job. Having read multiple military books on leadership, I got inspired and pursued the topic further, and sought after areas where it could also be applied, besides the war scenario. Being a good leader is no easy task and it requires tact, perseverance, constantly trying to be better, and an ever growing curiosity towards human nature. From my experience, the good teachers that I had, were also good leaders, and they led the whole class towards success. This is the main reason why I want to explore the topic.
